Hot afternoons are made for good books! Some of our summer reads have included Doctor Thorne, which begins in July 1885. It is always a pleasure when a story just happens to match the season you are in.
Our evenings have been kept lively playing lots of Clue together as a
family and re-learning the rules for Yahtzee. Many a discussion on who is
going to win the Tour De France this year is often thrown into the mix . . . Vive le Tour!
Ending our days with some homemade, chocolate ice cream in a gluten-free sugar cone has made our summer evenings taste all the sweeter!
All in all these everyday moments have been adding up to a slow-paced July that we wouldn't trade for the world.
